Lakers News: Avery Bradley Questionable for Tuesday’s Game vs. Chicago Bulls

The status of injured Los Angeles Lakers guard Avery Bradley remains a question mark leading into the team’s Tuesday night road matchup against the Chicago Bulls.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was noncommittal about the possibility of Bradley playing after he sat out the team’s Monday practice.

Bradley suffered that bruise on his lower right leg during Sunday’s victory at San Antonio, with that diagnosis coming after the veteran underwent X-rays. That determination was something of a relief for the Lakers organization, which has already dealt with multiple injury concerns during the past few months.

Injuries have been something that Bradley has dealt with over the past few years. In his first six appearances in a Lakers uniform this season, he’s averaged 10.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, while also delivering on the defensive side with 1.3 steals per contest.

Back in July, the 28-year-old Bradley signed a two-year contract with the Lakers, with the second season being a player option. He’s currently in his 10th season in the NBA, spending the first seven years as a member of the Boston Celtics. However, he’s played with three teams during the previous two campaigns.

If Bradley is unable to play on Tuesday night, his next opportunity to take the court will come on Friday. That’s when the Lakers return to the Staples Center, where they’ll face a Miami Heat team that currently shares their 5-1 record.
