LeBron James has made it a point to touch the lives of people within his reach.

On Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar made a kid’s dreams come true by appearing in the young man’s selfie video.

When asked if he could say hello, James first asked the kid’s name before trying to calm him down.

“Sam? Nice to meet you, man,” James said. “Don’t let nobody see you cry, alright?”

James noticed how nervous his young fan, Sam Casbarro, was, and so the four-time MVP proceeded to toughen him up to keep him from breaking down in tears. It’s not every day that fans get to meet their idols and, this boy just got a once-in-a-lifetime experience, not only to see his idol up close, but also to have a selfie with one of the most famous athletes on the planet.

In his Instagram post, Casbarro thanked James for appearing in the video.

In seven hours, Casbarro’s post has been viewed over 90,000 times and has received more than a thousand comments so far.

Clearly, James made an indelible mark on a young man’s life just a few seconds.
