About three months after Kobe Bryant’s tragic death, fans will now have a chance to own some special Bryant memorabilia.
For the next few weeks, nearly 100 items, including game-worn garb, will be auctioned off to the bidders online, according to ESPN.
As one would expect, these items are expected to go for top dollar.
“There’s something for everyone,” Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions told ESPN. “We expect the price points in here to go from as low as $500 to potentially over $100,000.”
Among the more desirable items up for bid are a pair of Adidas sneakers the Los Angeles Lakers great wore for Game 5 of the 2001 NBA Finals.
Also available are the nets from the Jan. 25 game in Philadelphia when LeBron James passed Bryant to become the third-leading scorer in NBA history.
Bryant, along with his daughter Gianna and seven others, passed away the next day in a tragic helicopter crash just outside of the greater Los Angeles area. They were heading to a basketball game at the Mamba Sports Academy in which the younger Bryant was scheduled to play in.
The proceeds from the auction will go to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, a non-profit that helps kids develop valuable life skills and a positive attitude through sports.
