Giannis Antetokounmpo Calls LeBron an ‘Alien’ for Maintaining High Level at Age 34

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks will clash in Wisconsin in a game that could be a preview of the NBA Finals.

This game will feature LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who are generally considered the two frontrunners for this season’s MVP award.

The Greek Freak, who may remind some of a taller, leaner and younger James, lauded the four-time MVP for playing so well in his 17th season.

James is averaging 25.9 points and a league-high 10.6 assists per game so far this season. As a result, the Lakers have a 24-4 record, which is tied with the Bucks for tops in the NBA.

Antetokounmpo is putting up 31.7 points, 12.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists a game while shooting 56.4 percent from the field. His 3-point shooting, which had always been a weakness, has improved somewhat – he’s hitting 32.1 percent of his treys this season.

Many doubted whether James could continue to play at a high level after suffering his first significant injury last season. But so far, he has silenced his critics while making the Lakers the favorites among many to win the NBA championship.
