Dennis Rodman Trashes LeBron James: ‘He’s So F-cking Easy to Play, He Don’t Have Any Moves’

The NBA careers of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman never intersected, but it’s apparent that Rodman has little respect for James’ ample talent.

Recently, Rodman offered a blunt vision of how he’d keep James in check if the two players, along with Rodman’s Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, had ever played against each other.

Rodman played 14 seasons in the NBA from 1986 to 1999, most notably with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, and was part of five NBA title teams. While his main calling card was his tremendous rebounding ability, he was less favorably known for his frequent outbursts on and off the court.

In contrast, James completed his 16th NBA season in April and has put up huge numbers in multiple key categories. He’s also avoided any major controversies connected to his behavior and is most likely to dismiss this criticism from Rodman with little or no comment. He was also a part of three championship teams.

One of the five teams that Rodman played for during his career was the Lakers, signing with the team in February 1999. In his 21 games, the aging veteran again was effective only on the glass, collecting an average of 11.2 rebounds per contest while scoring just 2.1 points per game. The Lakers chose not to re-sign him after the year and he finished his career the following season with the Dallas Mavericks.

James is hoping to bounce back after missing the postseason for the first time since 2005. Injuries limited him to just 55 games, but he still managed to average 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game. With Anthony Davis set to join the Lakers for next season, James could indeed again make his mark, which holds the possibility that Rodman will then keep quiet.
