The entire basketball world is waiting in anticipation of Thursday night’s heavyweight battle between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks.
With records of 24-4, both teams seem destined to represent their respective conferences in the 2020 NBA Finals.
However, with Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis’ status up in the air, it’s still unclear if the game will truly serve as a potential Finals preview.
On Wednesday, Davis himself commented on his status for the game.
Davis has been on a tear all season, averaging 27.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
He missed Tuesday night’s game versus the Indiana Pacers and was sorely missed by the Lakers. They lost the game, 105-102.
Hopefully Davis’ ankle heals to the point where he and the team are comfortable with his returning to the court.
If he is able to go, he will likely play a huge role in trying to defend defending MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
